San Jose likely wouldn’t be the first location that comes to mind when you think of where the Bay Area’s life-science companies are based. But for much of the past 20 years, it’s been a winning address for Tony Gonzalez and his CMO, Jane Lalonde.

Early this year, BioCube opened a second location, this time in North San Jose, within Blue Rise Ventures and PCCP LLC’s BioSquare Silicon Valley campus. BioCube’s 35,000-foot facility, located at 2680 Zanker Rd., is in one of the research-and-development park’s seven buildings.
